Supplier of The year
This is a non-member award for a supplier open to all sections of a live event delivery. It recognises the most impactful contribution to events in the last 12 months. Ideally the entry for the award will include a quote from an event organiser to support the submission.
Best Event Destination
The city or venue which delivered an event where the impact extended beyond the live event itself. Candidates should demonstrate how they worked with a variety of agencies in support of the event to widen the benefits for the City or Region.
Best Event Production Agency
This award is for an agency who has worked with a number of sub-contractors to deliver a significant part of a live event or the whole scope of supply. The entry for the award should, ideally, include a quote from an event organiser to support the submission.Â
Outdoor Event of the Year
Open‑air and mass participation events done brilliantly, from city takeovers to parades and everything staged under the sky.
Sports Event of the Year
The sport event that is universally recognised as delivered beyond expectations, overcame challenges or innovated to deliver greatest impact beyond the profile of the Sports event itself.
Best Festival
New to market or existing festival organisers who received public acclaim for an event which delivered beyond expectation in terms of innovation, visitor experience, marketing reach or inclusion.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Honouring a career that has made a huge impact on numerous events over many years and been an inspiration to others.
MEI MEMBER AWARDS
Technology and Innovation Award
Provision of technology solutions which led to stand out single event moments or a consistent track record of always exceeding client expectations.
Sustainability Leadership Award
Demonstratable environmental leadership in live event delivery recognising the importance of environmental protection through the deployment of consistent best practice.
Rising Star award
The Member who is new to market or breaking new ground to grow their contribution to the future of live events.
MEI Member of the Year
The Member recognised for maximising the services provided by MEI and or the most recognisable ambassador for the community of expert suppliers.
Overlay Award
Overlay solutions are diverse and have unique benefits and challenges. This award recognises the member who has achieved recognition for innovation and or delivery for a single event or over many years.
Safety and Security Award
This award recognises the role of an individual or company who has consistently contributed to ensuring that public safety is foremost in the mind of event organisers.
